Citaat:Thomas Colesly, Tom to his friends, is the closeted bisexual disaster who always seems to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Granted, he’s got some things to be nervous about: the fact that his parents don’t realize he’s still bisexual, despite their best efforts; the fact that he does not work for the city council as his family believes, but instead at an organization dedicated to create safe spaces for the LGBTQ community; the fact that Tom’s role in that organization is to focus on safe spaces for LGBTQ youth; and last but not least, the owner of the new hot chocolate shop that opened just along the way he usually takes to get from home to work. Let’s put it this way: it’s not just the Hot Chili Choc they serve there that makes him feel warm all over…
Gilbert Langley, Gil to his friends, is the co-owner of 1001 Chocolate Nights: chocolate geek, art enthusiast and lover of all things humanity and nature. Together with his best friends Kat and Maisie, a lesbian couple who struggle to get their wedding-of-the-century off the ground, he not only wants to create a haven for chocolate lovers, but also carve out a little place in the city where everybody can feel at home. And if, in the course of doing so, he can attract the attention of the cute posh boy who seems to stop by more and more often, then so much the better.
Thankfully, for once, the problem does not lie in the getting together. But staying together despite two demanding jobs, complicated family dynamics, the ever-present fear of being found out and two best friends whose wedding struggles threaten to disrupt their entire relationship and, by extension, Gilbert’s livelihood?
That’s an entirely different story.

Ik ben best wel blij met mijn draft, zo blij zelfs dat ik 'm ga afmaken en serieus ga herschrijven tot er een fatsoenlijk boek uit komt Heb de blurb al in het NaNo topic gepost, maar hier nog een x:Citaat:Thomas Colesly, Tom to his friends, is the closeted bisexual disaster who always seems to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
